EA Real Racing 3 Review

EA Real Racing 3 might seem like one of the racing games in the market like Asphalt 8 or Need for Speed series but after you start playing it, you come to know the real difference between Real Racing and other racing games. When I first started playing EA Real Racing 3, I didn't really like it much (I was already playing Asphalt 8 then). But after a week or two, I started loving the game and I've been playing ever since.
The striking features of EA Real Racing 3 are its realistic graphics and meticulous design. Tracks in the game are actual tracks and the cars are designed with maximum precision. Physics in the EA Real Racing 3 is also great. Player is provided with various control options like Tilt Steering with automatic acceleration, On screen steering wheel etc.
Other feature of the game that makes it stand out is the Time-Shifted Multiplayer Mode or TSM Mode. This is like recording and replaying. When a player plays on a track, his overall progress as he plays on track will be recorded and it will be replayed when other player plays on the same track. I'm not sure of how this works but I've seen my opponents going off track while turning so I think it works pretty well. This TSM, sometimes, will be real pain as the opponent cars crash into yours when your path crosses theirs.
The graphics of this game are great and close to reality. You can see the tire marks, tire smoke and dust when you go off track. Coming to the cars, there are so many cars from so many manufacturers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Ford etc. Plus, they keep on adding more cars to the list. I recently got the Scuderia Ferrari upgrade and before that, I got the Maserati upgrade. You also have various events like Elimination, Speed Record, Race, Endurance, Drag Race and what not.

Like Asphalt 8 and Need for Speed, you can't just ram your car into your opponent's and come out of it without any damage. There's a price to pay. Here, in Real Racing 3, you have to service your car. If you crash too often or go off of the tract too often, you have to service your car frequently. Though some cars take a few minutes to complete the service, some other cars take literally hours. You can't use the car while it is being serviced. So, you have to be careful while driving. There are also upgrade to each section of the car. There is no Nitro boost in EA Real Racing 3 and drifting doesn't earn you more. Drifting is more like a sin in EA Real Racing 3 :)

Coming to the in-game currency, you have the R$ and Gold. You can skip the service or upgrade time by spending gold. There are few cars which can be bought only using Gold. You can earn Gold by completing levels. You can also earn gold through achievements. You can earn R$ through races, level-ups, achievements etc. You can also buy R$ and Gold.

Final Verdict : EA Real Racing 3 is a fun game. Car enthusiasts will love to play this game. Graphics are a plus to this game. Physics is great.

Stay tuned. I'll come up with a new post about the Tips to play EA Real Racing 3. Thank you :)
